As summer's long warm days give way to crisp fall weather, the farmer's markets overflow with autumn favorites like pumpkins and persimmons, as well as new crops of tree nuts to squirrel away for winter.


Note: We feature foods that are mainly harvested from October to December or available through most of the autumn season. Crops and harvest months may vary by regional climate and local weather patterns.
