Senior Manager, HR Operations (Benefits & HRIS)

About the Role:

Rally Health is seeking a passionate process, metrics and, benefit & system extraordinaire to lead, support and inspire our growing company and talented employees in many facets of HR, including: HRIS, Benefits/Wellbeing, and HR Operations. You and your team will own all aspects of Rally’s benefits and perks programs, including our very own wellness platform, as well as help to build the strategic design of innovative benefits that help attract and retain the best talent at Rally Health. We are looking for someone who has a passion for HR Operations; both a leader who empowers their team and will jump in and roll up their sleeves, and a technical expert on all things HRIS & Benefits. This role offers a tremendous opportunity for personal and professional development.

What You’ll Own:

  • Benefit Plan Design:
    • Manage the many moving pieces of a benefits function (i.e. LOA program administration, HRIS integrations, vendor management and SLAs, disclosures, calendars, Plan Documents, SPDs, audits, 401k administration, etc.)
    • Facilitate annual benefits pricing and strategic design efforts, including regular plan reviews in partnership with our broker and carriers
    • Build and manage strategic partnerships across functions to ensure alignment of our benefits offerings with fiscal and legal realities
    • Manage critical escalations, exceptions, and other unique situations with compassion and respect for our employees
  • HRIS:
    • Develop HR Systems roadmap and align the strategy to support short and long-term goals of the function and organization
    • Collaborate closely with HR to ensure the system (ADP) meets the needs of the business; work with leaders across the business to troubleshoot and execute against needs
    • Create and maintain HR metrics dashboard; work with business partners to outline key metrics and develop simple, easy to understand reporting capabilities
    • Drive efficiencies and improvements across all systems; facilitate the effective integration of HR systems
    • Develop business case and implement (as appropriate) new tools and systems to align with needs of the company

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with managers and employees of all levels

What You Have:

  • 5-7 years of Benefit & HRIS Management experience, startup and big company experience a plus
  • 2-3 years people leadership experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
  • Comfortable with all systems and tools necessary to illustrate and convey complex information in clear and simple formats (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint,, etc.)
  • Love for data & metrics; exceptional Excel skills
  • Experience driving and implementing process improvements
  • Able to multitask and juggle multiple projects and competing priorities without breaking a sweat
  • Experience with Google Suite and ADP is a plus
