Manager, Business Development

This strategic role will report to our Chief of Staff and drive the development, analysis, and execution of partnerships with 3rd parties. This individual will partner closely with key business leaders--including but not limited to heads of Sales, Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Operations--to understand intent and recommend appropriate solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Inform, create, and execute Rally Health’s strategy to grow its user base beyond its current international and domestic channels. 
  • Manage and lead reporting of key performance metrics across the enterprise. 
  • Coordinate and lead communications among Rally’s Sales, Product, Enterprise, Legal, and Data organizations
  • Build close partnerships with Line of Business Executives to understand imperatives, gain insights into critical product drivers for the organization, and consult on the appropriate market development agenda
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand top business needs related to Rally’s product localization and local insights needs, structure and package your work into compelling presentations and communications that influence various audiences including senior executives
  • Drive the adoption of innovative digital learning solutions, created in-house and through vendor partnerships
  • Understand localization workflows and services, identify tool and process needs to enable operational scaling and collaborate with Product, Operations and Engineering to support deployment
  • Partner with key business partners to scope learning needs for new initiatives

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • You have a strong history of defining business requirements through collaboration with sales, customers, senior management, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • You have experience simply and effectively communicating business requirements to a diverse group of business users, technologists, and clients.
  • You have strong quantitative skills that you have used in the development of financial models, the creation or analysis of financial reports, or similar experience. 
  • You have experience developing business cases that will inform investment decisions. 
  • You have experience building and leading light, sustainable, and impactful processes. 
  • You have experience in and passion for health care and/or other consumer-driven industries
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • At least 4 years of experience in client facing consulting
  • 3 years product/project/program management experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem solving experience, combined with excellent business judgment and an ability to present to leaders in a clear and compelling manner
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with proven success in execution and multitasking 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders at all levels of management
  • Ability to handle and manage competing priorities
  • Execution-minded team player and individually accountable
