Product Manager

San Francisco

The Product Manager role supports the survey, campaign, and recommendations platform within Rally.  A qualified candidate should be familiar with the basic concepts of software product management and be willing to do whatever is needed to help the Product team advance its goals.  Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to product planning & prioritization, writing requirements & detailed user stories, setting the agenda for developing impactful content, training and communicating platform features and values internally and externally.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Inform roadmap for expanding Rally’s health survey service and platform for surfacing relevant actions to users
  • Define detailed requirements, user stories, and user acceptance criteria
  • Work closely with engineering and other internal teams (including others in Product, Client Delivery, XD, Program Management, Legal) for successful and on schedule delivery of roadmap items
  • Train and communicate platform features and value to internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to a strong Product culture of continuous development and rapid test and learn
  • Perform industry research and manages partner relationships
  • Identify partners and business opportunities to enhance the Rally product offering


  • 2-5 years in product management – preferably in SaaS or platform technology
  • Experience with consumer facing products (websites, software, apps)-preferred
  • Background with Agile, Scrum, and other software development methodologies – required
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and creativity
  • Must be adaptable, proactive, energetic, and willing to learn and deliver on a variety of tasks and responsibilities
  • Must care about getting the details right but ship on time
  • Driven to question assumptions and validate hypotheses
  • Clear and compelling in written and spoken communication
  • Ability to work at a fast-paced environment and manage simultaneously competing priorities
  • Proven success working collaboratively in a matrixed organization
  • Familiarity with JIRA is a plus
