IT Support Engineer

At Rally Health, the IT team works with teammates from all over the country. We support Windows and Apple computers, multiple 3rd party applications and help maintain and test networks, servers, and conference room equipment. Associate IT support engineers work with the facilities staff and security to ensure that projects and operations are maintained. As part of the IT Support Team, you will report to the Manager of IT Support. We recognize that people come from diverse backgrounds and skills and welcome all to apply.

You Will:

  • Check the ticket queue to ensure that new and outstanding requests are assigned and prioritized
  • Liaise directly with and support the Security, Compliance, and Networking teams
  • Assist staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop and laptop computers, peripheral equipment, and software
  • Resolve technical hardware and software issues involving internet connectivity, email clients, and VoIP
  • Work with support contacts to resolve technical problems with the computing equipment and software
  • Ensure computers interconnect with diverse systems, including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, authentication servers, firewalls, SaaS systems, and application servers
  • Identify and own projects for improving the IT standards within the department and across the company
  • Maintain a high standard of quality for conference room audiovisual equipment
  • Document complex administrative responsibilities through the use of company-provided tools

You Have:

  • You will solve complex technical issues
  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows and experience with macOS. Expert in all diagnostics and commands on both operating systems
  • You have experience with firewalls, routers, and general network fundamentals
  • CompTIA's A+ and Network+ certification preferred; MCSE: Desktop Infrastructure
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suites (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and OneDrive for Business)
  • Familiarity with legacy Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and GDrive)
  • Telephonic Administration knowledge must be on either 8x8, RingCentral, Five9, Revation, or a similar VoIP platform
  • You have experience with at least some of the following: Atlassian products (Jira & Confluence), Slack, Meraki Apps, firewalls, AV hardware (Polycom, Chrome boxes, and Dolby Voice), JAMF, Desktop Central, Python script, AWS, Azure
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and migrating on-prem to the cloud
  • Creating software deployment packaging is nothing new to you
  • You are comfortable with running terminal commands and shell scripts
  • Work hours and may be mornings, evenings, and weekends when needed
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or 3+ years relevant technical experience supporting users in a mixed Mac and Windows environment
  • Please note that hiring for this position will only be considered in the following states: Denver, CO
  • *The expected salary range for this position in CO will be: $52,000 to $66,000
