Full Stack Software Engineer (HSID)

Minneapolis, MN OR San Francisco, CA

Join Rally Health as a Senior or Principal Full Stack Software Engineer where you will lead the full SDLC including development, code reviews, testing and production and architect and develop identity and authorization solutions for both web and mobile applications. As part of the HealthSafe ID team, you will help us to power the identity and access for a suite of technical products. You will report to our Engineering Director and work with Rally's Core technical team.

You Will:

  • Communicate on software design with engineering leadership.
  • Manage code changes using Git and GitHub.
  • Work with product managers to understand the features, do technical asessments and costing, design, code, and test
  • Develop database models using SQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

You Have:

  • 5+ years' experience as a software engineer
  • 2+ years' experience with Java or C# and interest in learning Scala.
  • 2+ years' experience with distributed systems and application design in a SOA environment.
  • 2+ years' experience with production debugging and to track down causes and fix them in systematic ways.
  • 2+ years' experience working with database concepts (both NoSQL and RDBMS).
  • Experience with authorization frameworks like oAuth 2.0, SAML or OpenID Connect is a bonus.
  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering or a related technical role or equivalent experience.
