Senior Cyber Security Software Engineer

Join Rally Health as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer where you will work with out networking team to increase reliability and security coverage. As part of the Security team, you will report to Senior Manager Information Security.

You Will:

  • Work with our networking team to establish firewalls requirements, increase reliability and security coverage.
  • Use Terraform and Ansible to make changes to the production environment.
  • Apply Access Management (PAM) Ability to security concepts including protection methods for privileged and system level accounts.
  • Administer Identity Governance (IGA) including building automation for provisioning and authorization workflows.
  • Review / Approve / Complete firewall change requests. Perform periodic compliance reviews of firewall configurations.
  • Use IDS/IPS systems, SIEM (Security Incident and Event Management) tools and network scanners to review, assess, and document incidents and vulnerabilities to improve security.
  • Help with the configuration and installation of security products; automate manual operational activities.
  • Configure and administer our email gateway.

You Have:

  • 5+ years as an information security engineer, in an environment certified for and compliant with a globally recognized Security Framework / Information Security Management System (NIST SP 800-53, ISO27001, HIPAA, HiTrust, SOX, PCI).
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS or another cloud provider, doing security or operations.
  • 3+ years of experience with Email security processes and email authentication (DMARC, DKIM, SPF)
  • Knowledge of cryptography for data at-rest and data in-transit.
  • Worn an auditor hat and monitored compliance with security policies.
  • Written enough code (Python preferred) that you can look at problems and say "hey, I can script that". Experience automating against APIs to make your job easier.
  • You're comfortable in written and in person communication
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
