Rally Health is seeking a Senior Manager to manage a high-performing team of Client Implementation Project Managers while also building and staffing the Rally Enterprise Readiness function.  This is a leadership position in a fast-paced, collaborative and deadline-driven environment.


  • Manage and develop a team of client facing implementation professionals 

    • The implementation team is responsible for delivering a flawless implementation experience to clients with complex requirements

    • The team interacts with Product, Engineering, PMO, Legal, Marketing and other stakeholders; this role will provide guidance and escalation support for those interactions that contributes to Rally’s employee-oriented company culture and emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, high performance and key employee retention

  • Lead and grow the Rally Enterprise Readiness function by introducing and driving an operational readiness discipline and transformation throughout the client lifecycle

  • Work with Sales and Client Management, Product Operations, PMO, Engineering and Client Support stakeholders to integrate process improvement and development methodologies into current planning and management processes, building the readiness foundation

  • Work at multiple organizational levels, internal to Rally, and with our external partners

  • Work in cross functional areas, understanding needs and requirements across Rally

  • Provide leadership on implementation, operational readiness and risk management processes and methodology, driving to an end result of a flawless client implementation experience

  • Identify and leverage personal and team best practices to help successfully scale the team along with the growing company


  • 5+ years of experience directly managing a team of high-performing individual contributors

  • Balanced business/technical background i.e. managing in a tech-based, maturing  environment

  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of both Agile and traditional Waterfall project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment

  • Demonstrated use of process and metrics to manage team growth, health and efficiency

  • Experience working with external partners and driving cross-functional program

Skills Required:

  • BA or BS is required; MA, MS or PMP is a plus

  • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building

  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of client trust and confidence

  • Proven ability to build and scale a high performing team/robust business systems

  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools:  Google Apps, Salesforce, Confluence/JIRA

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level

  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
