About the Team: 

You will work in Rally Health’s dynamic Human Resources Team, partnering with our Chief Technology Office (CTO) organization and leaders as well as serve as one of the main HR points of contacts on the ground in our San Francisco office. The HRBP Team is known for working hard and having a lot of fun all while focusing on our mission to help people live healthier lives.

Your day to day: 

In this role, you will execute on operational and HR efficiencies, while keeping an eye on maintaining Rally’s forward-thinking people-centric company culture. This critical role will allow the right candidate to provide HR strategic expertise and services to management and employees, in areas including HR program design, employee communications, relations, and engagement as well as change management and organizational structure.

Your core responsibilities: 

Leadership Effectiveness

  • Coach managers in people management best practices, i.e., attraction, performance management, reward & recognition, employee development and retention strategies
  • Anticipate training & development needs, developing plans & programs, partner with stakeholders accordingly
  • Partner with leaders in proactive management of total rewards across the function
  • Apply highly effective analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze financial, operational and workforce data, understand trends and develop systemic recommendations for action using analytic frameworks.

Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness

  • Understand, recommend, implement, and track functional goals
  • Act as a resource for strategic support on all HR related initiatives and operational efficiencies
  • Partner with senior leaders to assess talent implications within the business units and functional organizations.
  • Proactively assess current org structures and identify opportunities for increased efficiency, effectiveness, talent management 

HR Functional Effectiveness

  • Analyze and identify complex people issues and recommend appropriate actions
  • Act as a change agent related to any people related initiatives
  • Work with other HR team members to drive the overall HR strategy for the company
  • Support the business needs in the areas such as; staffing and career and leadership development, compensation, employee development, talent management, organization design.

Employee Resource Management

  • Help to build and maintain employee culture and morale
  • Partners with business leaders to create high performing organizations with a focus on employee engagement and team effectiveness
  • Play a crucial role in creating and maintaining the strategic direction of the people side of the company and will work closely with business leaders 
  • Inspires trust through confidence, poise, respect for others and a commitment to inclusion and fairness in alignment with our core values

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with 5+ years of experience in a strategic Human Resources role relative to tech, directly partnering with senior level management
  • Strong coaching, conflict resolution, relationship and team building skills, and demonstrated ability to influence
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles
  • Ability to make independent procedural decisions and exercise judgment with sensitive/ confidential issues
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws and standards
