Senior Manager, HR Business Partner

Rally Health is looking for an experienced, solutions-driven Senior HRBP to join their team. The ideal candidate will be intellectually nimble, self-motivated, know how to easily partner with all levels of employees, gets excited about challenging and rewarding work and has no qualms when it comes to “rolling up their sleeves” to join in the fun!  


You will work in Rally Health's dynamic Workplace Excellence Team, partnering with several core organizations and leaders as well as serve as one of the main HR points of contact on the ground in our San Francisco office. In this role, you will execute on operational and HR efficiencies, while keeping an eye on maintaining Rally’s forward-thinking people-centric company culture. This critical role will allow the right candidate to provide HR strategic expertise and services to management and employees, in areas including HR program design, employee communications, relations, and engagement as well as change management and organizational structure.


Leadership Effectiveness

  • Anticipate training & development needs, developing plans & programs, partner with L&D stakeholders accordingly
  • Coach managers in appropriate people management best practices, i.e., performance management, discipline, reward & recognition, and exit strategies
  • Partner with leaders in proactive management of compensation packages
  • Apply highly effective analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze financial, operational and workforce data, understand trends and develop systemic recommendations for action using analytic frameworks.

Strategy and organizational effectiveness

  • Understand, recommend, implement, and track functional goals
  • Act as a resource for strategic support on all HR related initiatives and operational efficiencies
  • Partner with senior leaders to assess the talent implications within the business units and functional organizations.

HR Functional Effectiveness

  • Proactively analyze and identify complex people issues and trends and recommend appropriate actions
  • Act as a change agent related to any people related initiatives
  • Work with other HR team members to drive the overall HR strategy for the company
  • Support the business needs in the areas such as; staffing and career and leadership development, compensation, employee development, talent management, organization design.

Employee Resource Management

  • Help to build and maintain employee culture and morale
  • Partners with business leaders to create high performing organizations with a focus on employee engagement and team effectiveness
  • Play a  crucial role in creating and maintaining the strategic direction of the people side of the company and will work closely with business leaders 
  • Inspires trust through confidence, poise, respect for others and a commitment to inclusion and fairness in alignment with our core values



  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a strategic Human Resources role relative to tech, working closely with senior level management
  • 2+ years of experience managing/leading a team
  • 2+ years of experience driving company-wide initiatives and working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and exercise judgment with sensitive/ confidential issues
  • Strong coaching, conflict resolution, relationship and team building skills, and demonstrated the ability to influence;
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles
  • Strong ability to coach and/or counsel others
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws and standards
