We have an opportunity for a Senior Manager, Benefits & Wellbeing, to scale, develop and enhance the overall employee benefits & wellbeing programs. Are you knowledgeable and up to date on the types of programs and benefit offerings? This will help differentiate Rally from other organizations. Are you a highly adaptable and solution-oriented individual who is able to thrive in a dynamic culture with constant shifting priorities? This role will work alongside our Workplace Excellence Operations team, who are made up of Human Capital Operations team members specializing in: Onboarding, Compliance, Immigration, HRIS, and Workplace Experience hardworking, talented individuals.

This team is responsible for building programs and processes that ensure seamless support for our growing organization. This role plays an integral part in helping to support our mission by putting health in the hands of the individual by partnering with internal stakeholders to align Rally product and program initiatives with the Benefit and Wellbeing philosophy.

Responsibilities:

  • You will lead the strategic planning, evaluation and annual renewal process for benefits and wellbeing program initiatives at Rally; develop a strategic roadmap in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • You'll evaluate current programs and offerings to identify opportunities for plan enhancement, while maintaining cost containment; partner with Finance Management and Benefits Manager to forecast and budget accordingly on a quarterly basis.
  • Develop partnerships with Product, Enterprise Client Management, Optum Health Promotions Specialist, and Growth to ensure familiarity with the Rally product roadmap and strategy. The goal is to help introduce or re-engage new and current products, programs and services of Rally to the employee population.
  • Manage the overall Rally Wellbeing program, initiatives and activities (objective: increase employee health engagement and overall ownership all in the name to help build a culture of health and wellbeing).
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and simplify current benefit policies and programs to include, but not limited to:
  • Deliver consistent high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment by leading time and effort across hiring: sourcing strategies, timelines and deliverables for hiring goals, taking initiative to complete unanticipated or ad hoc tasks, and verifying the completeness of your own work.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and simplify current benefit policies and programs to include, but not limited to:
  • Paid time off, leave of absence, parental leave policies, etc.
  • Ensure plan compliance with regulatory filings and updates, notices, plan audits, non-discrimination testings, etc.
  • Enhance current vendor management relationships and develop relationships with potential partners to include: insurance broker, 3rd party loa management, wellbeing contractor, in addition to all benefit plan providers all in the name of providing exceptional service for the team and for all of Rally.
  • Develop a team of benefit and wellbeing experts; performance, set standards and expectations, provide valuable coaching and feedback.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience including managing the administration, design and cost analysis of a competitive benefits portfolio for 1000+ organization.
  • Preferred self-insured benefit plan experience.
  • Prior management experience of a team; ability to provide coaching, development and overall guidance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with senior leadership and peers.
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulatory requirements for benefits, payroll and HR documentation.
  • Knowledge of the Rally experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment; and work with a diverse and dispersed team of individuals
  • Possess quantitative analysis skills to forecast costs and develop proposals for future expenses.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • A can-do approach to handling shifting priorities in a constantly changing organization
  • Strong writing/presentation building experience
  • Excellent project management skills and prior experience.
  • Ability to analyze data and proactively find opportunities for savings
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience required;
  • Experience in a high-growth technology company a PLUS
  • Experience working in GSuite (Gmail, Calendar, GDocs, GSheets, GSlides)
  • Project management background preferred
  • Familiarity with Mac laptops and OS

Position can be located in Washington, DC, Chicago, IL, Minneapolis, MN or San Francisco, CA Rally offices.
