About the role:

The XD team is responsible for all aspects of the user experience within the Rally digital platform (suite of web and mobile apps). These integrated apps allow a user to easily manage their day-to-day health and healthcare.

Your primary focus as Lead Product Designer, Health Activity will be mentoring and managing the design team as you create a customized health experience that helps people make smarter decisions about their daily health and wellness in 3 three outcome-based categories:

  • Getting Healthy—Improving nutrition, fitness, sleep, and managing stress
  • Staying Healthy—Tracking health activities and being well on a daily basis
  • Condition Management—Maximizing vitality for those diagnosed with a specific condition through high quality care plans, digital monitoring, and an integrated care team.


  • Mentor and manage team members
  • Produce high-quality, human-focused visual designs/features
  • Maintain a high level of visual fidelity and consistency across all features
  • Work closely with Product to define requirements and implement scenarios, interaction models, end-to-end experiences, and communicate to stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with Creative Director to ensure strategic vision for each feature
  • Ensure final mockups are pixel perfect prior to development handoff
  • Ability to be flexible. You will be working with requirements that evolve often


  • Human-centric approach to designing products and people management
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Exceptional information architecture & interaction design skills
  • Experience building and maintaining design systems
  • Excellent visual design skills
  • Expert proficiency with Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, & Photoshop (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Basic understanding of front-end Development
  • Ability to work with Product Management team to assist in translating business requirements into product/design requirements
  • Drive to push the application forward and innovate
  • 10+ years of professional web/application/ui experience. Preferably in a design team environment.
  • 3+ years as a team lead
  • BA or BFA in design or information architecture related field preferred, but not required
  • Some travel might be required
