IT Support Specialist

Rally Health is looking for a highly-motivated entry-level IT Support Specialist. At Rally the IT team works with colleagues from all over the country. We support computers, applications, and related technology; we also assist in the maintenance and testing of networks, servers, and conference room equipment. IT Support Specialists support and collaborate with facilities staff and security to ensure that critical projects and business functionality are maintained.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Check the ticket queue to ensure that new and outstanding requests are appropriately assigned and prioritized
  • Provide support to Facilities team as needed
  • Assist end users with troubleshooting of network and WiFi related issues
  • Assist staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop and laptop computers, peripheral equipment, and software
  • Setup user accounts, new computers, and train new employees on our applications
  • Ensure that applications and access for exiting employees are disabled or removed in a timely fashion
  • Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with the computing equipment and/or software.
  • Work with procurement staff to purchase hardware and software.
  • Work with support contacts to resolve technical problems with the computing equipment and/or software
  • Effective communication – work on the development and rapport with end users to facilitate strong business relationships.
  • Procure hardware and software for local staff
  • Maintain and keep track of IT inventory
  • Assist senior specialists with projects and company-spanning tasks as required
  • Maintain a high standard of quality for conference room audio visual equipment
  • Provide IT on-boarding to our new hires.

What we want from you:

  • You are customer service oriented at heart and love putting a smile on your colleagues’ faces
  • 1+ years of experience supporting Windows and Mac OS X.
  • Experience installing software, patches, and updates on laptops.
  • Experience solving basic network, software, and printing problems.
  • Able to work in a dynamic, changing environment.
  • Super organized and detailed focused.
  • You are confident and get stuff done - multi-tasking skills are a necessity
  • You are organized and can take (and read, and follow) notes
  • Your written and spoken communication skills are on point
  • Self-motivated, passionate and low ego. Yea, that about covers it.
  • A high sense of urgency and strong multi tasking skills.
  • An attitude that is fundamentally focused on service.
