Rally Health, part of the UnitedHealth Group portfolio of companies, is currently seeking a Business Development Intern in our Washington, DC office. This is an excellent opportunity for potential full-time employment upon graduation.


  • Support the development, analysis, and execution of partnerships that support key enterprise goals regarding revenue, engagement, NPS, and new capabilities
  • Research partnership opportunities with new brands for Marketplace, a feature within Rally’s reward platform that offers discounts on popular items and services
  • Help grow the Marketplace pipeline and conduct communication outreach to potential partners
  • Conduct market research and competitive assessments for 3rd Party Program partnership opportunities that may support product and business goals
  • Create basic financial models in Excel to assess sales and revenue opportunities for partnerships
  • Create compelling presentation material that can be used for partnership discussions
  • Assist with reporting and operations for Marketplace Participate in internal and external BD meetings/calls
  • Healthcare related project (may require presentation to at the end of the internship)
  • Other duties/assignments as the need arises


  • Current University student or recent new grad
  • Familiarity with Google Enterprise (Gmail, Gcal, Google Docs, etc.)
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong social communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work confidently, both independently and in a team
  • Naturally curious and creative: constantly looking for ways to improve upon things
