Sr. Product Manager, Strategy and Analytics

Are you a product manager who loves to go deep on numbers and stats?  Do you have experience building data-driven products? Do you get excited when there’s a blank spreadsheet and an incredible wealth of interesting data for you to play with? Do you have the capability to develop ideas and strategy based on what you see in the numbers? 

As a Sr. Product Manager, Analytics and Strategy, at Rally Health, you will work closely with the Product, Data, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Data Science to ensure that we are using both product and revenue metrics to inform our strategy. You will need to roll up your sleeves to make sure that not only does the portfolio have clear KPIs, but that those KPIs can be tracked and measured, working directly with the data product team and engineering.

You will use the data to develop insights and drive decisions with the data. You will work closely with the VP of Product for Rally’s employer product to track the overall health of the product portfolio. You should bring strong product oriented thinking combined with communication, analytical, and leadership skills.  

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Act as the liaison between Product and Data to ensure that we have 100% tracking of all new products for the portfolio
  • Work with the VP of Product to establish the overall product strategy and roadmap
  • Work with Sales and Product to define and manage the team’s KPIs, setting and continuously managing the right expectations with all relevant stakeholders
  • Build a deep understanding of our existing business using internal and external data
  • Develop insights that further our understanding of our customers
  • Identify opportunities to win back and retain lapsed users
  • Create and socialize key metrics, reports and dashboards
  • Stay on top of all relevant health management and consumer technology trends, competitors, and market offerings
  • Seek out ways to make data more useful, accessible, and actionable for the rest of the organization

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in a consumer facing, software product management role
  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA a plus (Economics, Math, Statistics, or similar quantitative field)
  • Demonstrated ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases that can be clearly and easily communicated
  • 4+ years of experience in business strategy and/or analytics
  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Experience with Tableau, Amplitude, or other reporting and visualization tool
  • Love of data. You establish meaningful metrics for your products, analyze them and utilize them to improve products.
