Associate Product Manager - Mobile - San Fran or Chicago

Rally is seeking an Associate Product Manager that will be based in one of our offices in San Francisco or Chicago.  

You will work with a friendly, driven, talented, cross-functional team across Product, Engineering, and Design to improve and to innovate the Rally Connect User Experience and to assist in implementation of upcoming features.


  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Marketing and other internal teams to strategize and execute on product features and to define product requirements across mobile and web
  • Synthesize data and requests from multiple sources and communicate opportunities and tradeoffs to guide feature scope and prioritization, as well as product development
  • Help to measure and to improve the customer acquisition and engagement funnel across applications and feature sets
  • Lead implementation of operational enhancements and assist in triaging incoming opportunities to improve our software products
  • Add to our strong product culture of continuous development, paired with rapid testing and learning


  • Bachelors Degree
  • 2+ years of successful industry experience as a product manager or 3+ years in a related role: business analyst, QA, XD, project manager, software engineer.
  • 2+  years of experience working with cross-functional teams to design, build, ship, and maintain user-facing software products
  • Working fundamental knowledge and execution of software methodologies, including Agile/Scrum and associated tools (e.g. JIRA, Aha)
  • Strong attention to detail, including validated ability to manage multiple, challenging priorities at the same time
  • Eagerness to roll up your sleeves and to step up to the tasks at hand
  • Ability to use data and metrics to support hypotheses and conclusions for developing business cases and roadmap priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and to identify/communicate trade-offs and opportunities with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills

Bonus Points For:

  • M.B.A. and/or background in a technical field such (e.g. Engineering, Math, Computer Science)
  • Prior experience working cross-platform between Web and Mobile (Angular/React, iOS, Android)
  • Experience coordinating efforts with both co-located and remote individuals & teams
  • Experience with rapid prototyping tools (InVision, Balsamiq)
