Product Design Lead

The XD team is responsible for the user experience and interface design for the Rally digital platform (suite of web and mobile apps). These integrated apps allow a user to easily manage their day-to-day health and health care.

You will join an existing 9 person design team focused on our flagship Well-being product. This application provides a customized/targeted experience for users across hundreds of large and small businesses, allowing them to make smarter decisions about their daily health and wellness. Your primary focus as Lead Product Designer will be overseeing the day to day of deliverables, as well as working alongside and mentoring a team of designers as we continue to iterate and enhance this product.


  • You will produce high-quality, human-focused visual designs/features
  • You will maintain a high level of visual fidelity and consistency across all features
  • You will work closely with Product to define requirements and implement scenarios, interaction models, end-to-end experiences, and communicate to partners
  • You will work collaboratively with Creative Director to ensure strategic vision for each feature
  • You will ensure final mockups are pixel perfect prior to development handoff
  • You will be flexible. You will be working with requirements that evolve often


  • You have a human-centric approach to designing products
  • You have strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • You have exceptional information architecture & interaction design skills
  • You have experience building and maintaining design systems
  • You are highly Proficient in visual design (you'll leverage an existing style guide but there's always room for improvement!)
  • You are an expert proficiency with Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, & Photoshop (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • You have basic understanding of front-end Development
  • You have the ability to work with Product Management team to assist in translating business requirements into product/design requirements
  • You can drive the application forward and innovate
  • You have 6-8+ years of professional web/application/ui experience. Preferably in a design team environment.
  • You have 3+ years as a team lead
  • You have a BA or BFA in design or information architecture related field preferred, but not required
  • Some travel might be required
