About the role:

The XD team is responsible for the user experience and interface design for the Rally digital platform (suite of web and mobile apps). These integrated apps allow a user to easily manage their day-to-day health and healthcare.

You will join an existing 5 person design team focused on creating large-scale innovative health and wellness management experiences. This application powers a customized/targeted experience for users across hundreds of large and small businesses, reaching millions of users around the globe. Your primary focus will be designing new and updating existingK features for these web-based applications.


  • You will perform design work, both new and updates on existing features for platform web applications
  • You will maintain visual fidelity and consistency across all features
  • You will create pixel-perfect mock-ups for hand-off to engineers
  • You are flexible. You will be working with requirements that evolve often


  • You have 5-8 years of professional web/application/UI Design experience
  • You have strong knowledge of and hands-on skills in information architecture/design, UI/Visual Design as well as Interactive Design
  • You will own the design of a feature from start to finish, working independently and in tandem with the team design lead
  • You can communicate functionality details/specifications to product management and engineering
  • You have experience designing responsive and adaptive versions of desktop web applications
  • You have a high level of proficiency with InVision, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
  • You have strong knowledge of and hands-on skills in information architecture/design, responsive/adaptive design, UI/Visual Design as well as Interactive Design
  • You are collaborative and can work with Product Management team to assist in translating business requirements into product/design requirements
  • You have the drive to push the application forward and innovate
  • You have worked closely with other designers, product managers and engineers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prototyping skills are a plus
  • BA or BFA in design or information architecture related field preferred, but not required
