You will work in Rally Health's dynamic Workplace Excellence Team, partnering with several core organizations and leaders as well as serve as the one of the main HR point of contacts on the ground in our Minneapolis office. The Team is known for working hard, laughing, and having a lot of fun all while focusing on our mission to help people live healthier lives.


  • In this role, you will execute on operational and HR efficiencies, while keeping an eye on maintaining Rally’s forward-thinking people-centric company culture.
  • Provide HR strategic expertise and services to management and employees, in areas including HR program design, employee communications, relations and engagement as well as change management and organizational structure
  • Create and maintain the strategic direction of the people side of the company and will work closely with business leaders to:
  • Understand, recommend, implement and track divisional goals
  • Act as a resource for strategic support on all HR related initiatives and operational efficiencies
  • Provide expertise, guidance and coaching to leaders in handling highly sensitive and complex employee relations matters, including performance management and terminations
  • Help to build and maintain employee culture and morale
  • Proactively analyze and identify complex people issues and trends and recommend appropriate actions
  • Anticipate training & development needs, developing plans & programs, and then coordinate implementation
  • Coach managers in appropriate people management best practices, i.e., performance management, discipline, reward & recognition and exit strategies
  • Partner with leaders in proactive management of compensation packages
  • Act as a change agent related to any people related initiative
  • Work with other HR team members to drive overall HR strategy for the company


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a strategic Human Resources role, liaising with senior level management
  • Experience working with a diverse staff of mostly exempt employees
  • Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and exercise judgment with sensitive/ confidential issues
  • Strong coaching, conflict resolution, relationship and team building skills, and demonstrable ability to influence
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles
  • Proven ability to coach and/or counsel others
  • Proven knowledge of state and federal employment laws and standards
