About the Team

You will work in Rally Health's dynamic Workplace Excellence Team, partnering with several core organizations and leaders on the ground in our San Francisco office. The Team is known for working hard, laughing, and having a lot of fun all while focusing on our mission to help people live healthier lives.

About the Role

Rally Health is investing in HR Reporting & Analytics and is seeking a Business Analyst to define and produce key HR metrics and workforce analyses. You will partner with HR leadership to play an analytically and consultative role for the organization. You will use data to inform our leaders, influence business decisions and ensure that the Company is meeting its people objectives. You will form deep relationships with our key partners and will be seen as a trusted analytical thought partner. You are comfortable with ambiguity and love to tackle business problems with creative solutions. This role is unrivaled as this will be the first hire to focus exclusively on reporting and analytics, with an intention to drive proven improvement in the workforce insights delivered to our leaders.

You will work cross-functionally with several organizations (including HR, Finance, and IT), with the primary objective of enabling leaders to make effective, data-driven, and strategic decisions. You will be highly data driven, technically astute, a solid communicator, intellectually curious, a fast learner, and able to move quickly while keeping focused on high impact projects with limited direction and supervision.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide reporting and analysis to the Rally Workplace Excellence leadership team and other partners including monthly dashboards, compliance reporting, analysis related to recruiting, forecasting, attrition, and diversity metrics to help drive business decisions and identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver key reporting and analytical support for the Workplace Excellence organization and people-managers.
  • You will partner with Recruiting, HR Business Partners, Finance and others to identify report anomalies and research multiple data sources to identify cause and correction
  • Own key functional projects including planning, building, and ongoing maintenance
  • You will keep track of key workforce performance drivers
  • Gather and use data to inform decision-making and persuade others.

What You’ll Need

A passion for data:

  • Extraordinary reporting skills to establish trends in various parts of the business
  • Possess business insight, strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Strong quantitative analysis expertise in one or more analytical tools.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to speak and write clearly, concisely, and compellingly to various levels and roles
  • Strong Powerpoint, and presentation skills
  • Incredible attention to detail
  • Passionate about data and highly analytical - you’re able to translate data sets both large and small to develop insights into a relevant story to drive and support a forward facing strategy, actions, and decision-making at all levels including the executive level
  • Independently execute intermediate-to-advanced data analysis, correlations, combining multiple data sets

Ability to talk the talk:

  • You have excellent social and communication skills, specifically in working with end users and partners. You are able to define their reporting & analytics needs while handling expectations
  • Experience communicating with executives, leadership and key partner in a clear and concise manner with the ability to listen and influence others

Experience:

  • HR and Talent Planning experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience
  • 5+ years of People Analytics experience in a high-growth or tech environment a plus
