As the Director of Activation, you will drive activation for Real Appeal by leading cross-functional efforts amongst product, marketing, member and client operations. You will be the primary person responsible for increasing member penetration and driving towards registration goals amongst qualified membership for sold clients. You will translate registration into member participation, driving ILIs through attendance, weight loss, and overall member satisfaction.


  • Act as cross-functional lead for Activation across Product, Marketing, Member and Client Operations to reach bold Activation goals
  • Track and report critical metrics for activation targets and activities
  • Build and maintain Metrics Dashboard for all Activation activities to feed and inform the Executive Dashboard and weekly progress reporting
  • Run weekly Activation and Capacity Planning meeting
  • Develop and manage relationships with channel partners, including UHC, Optum, UMR, and Rally. Identify how to support these partners to drive additional activation.
  • Develop projections for our member funnel, from selling a client, registering a member, to realizing revenue in the program
  • Gather and provide inputs for future key business goals, including membership, member activation, and program revenue


  • Minimum of 8 years of product, strategy, or other relevant experience, including some experience in corporate, finance, technology, or healthcare environments
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Solid communication skills, including written, spoken, and presentation communications
  • Strong analytical abilities, including forecasting, enterprise modeling, and problem-solving
  • Experience working collaboratively at all levels and across business lines using influencing skills
  • Ability to maintain focus and a positive attitude in ambiguous or high pressure situations
  • Ability to develop partnerships and relationships in client-facing role, high EQ
