We are looking for a Data Warehouse Architect who will lead the evolution of our next-gen Data Warehouse and will be  responsible for enabling the massive amount of Data to be used for various production scenarios and insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and lead technology of large scale and high traffic data warehouse platform
  • Conceive, design, develop and deploy the data architecture and data models from scratch
  • Collaborate across business units (BI, Product, Reporting) to develop data warehouse platform vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Train and mentor the team in data modeling and data quality related processes and standards
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of prior experience in Data Warehousing
  • Strong conceptual, relational and dimensional data modeling skills
  • Data modeling expertise and a thorough understanding of logical modeling concepts
  • Strong SQL abilities and experience with massive relational database systems.
  • Experience building ETL and familiarity with design principles
  • Experience with distributed systems and application design in a SOA environment
  • Being analytical with strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Being a self-starter and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
  • And for bonus points:
    • Knowledge of high-scale performance and optimization tools and techniques
    • Experience with AWS (configuring, deploying, managing, monitoring) services and distributed applications
