As a Health Data Scientist embedded with the Clinical, Behavioral & Strategy Team, you will collaborate closely with the Data and Product teams to identify, define, measure, and improve the impact of Rally products on users’ lives. In doing so, you will ensure that the overall user experience is aligned to support our users’ health and care needs, and that the platforms are appropriately aligned to support and complement clients’ population health strategies.

Your background:

  1. You are a subject matter expert at improving people’s lives through data in a healthcare or wellness setting.
  2. You have extensive experience effectively collaborating and communicating with non-technical business partners to build reproducible, actionable insights.
  3. You have a demonstrated track record of solving challenging business problems with complex data and a wide variety of data science tools in fast-paced, agile environments.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5+ yrs of demonstrated expertise with industry standard measurement frameworks for health outcomes and healthcare data
  • 3+ years expertise with claims driven research
  • 2+ years of experience with machine learning techniques
  • Experience solving business or healthcare problems with machine learning
  • Strong working knowledge of solving business challenges with complex data science tools using R or Python and SQL.

Nice to Have:

  • Graduate degree (PhD, MA) in relevant field (statistics, data science, biostatistics, etc)
  • Healthcare or wellness specific business knowledge
  • Expertise with behavioral research
  • Demonstrated experience with data-driven product development in an agile software development setting (A/B testing, time series analysis, etc.)
  • Experience in a big data environments, like Hadoop or Spark
