Manager, Talent Acquisition

Rally is seeking a Manager, Talent Acquisition who will be an exceptional addition to our team.  As the Manager, Talent Acquisition, your job is to lead a high-performing talent acquisition team that consistently delivers a continuous pipeline of top quality talent to take Rally to the next level.  The right person for this role is seen as a credible leader amongst our Business Leads and Hiring Managers and is able to lead the team into a future era where the function is consistently viewed as strategic, consultative and proactive.  If you are adept with data and metrics, a strong people developer, and you have a track record of building strong, influential relationships with the business, then this is the perfect role for you.


  • Ensure every organization and hiring manager receives world-class talent acquisition consultation and support
  • Lead the evolution of an internal mobility strategy and continually evaluate its effectiveness while exploring new opportunities for partnerships
  • Develop and own a talent acquisition roadmap specific to non-technical hiring that optimizes investments in sourcing, data/analytics/reporting, headcount, and other talent acquisition programs (e.g., referrals, social media, employer branding, etc.)
  • Provide regular updates to the Executive and HR Teams on progress against non-technical hiring targets and other key talent acquisition initiatives
  • Ensure the talent acquisition team is viewed as a trusted and collaborative partner with other organizations, including ensuring strong partnerships with the HR Business Partners.
  • Be the primary point of contact for all non-technical hiring
  • Mange, lead and develop a team of non-technical recruitment resources
  • Implement programs including Diversity & Inclusion, College and other that will produce healthy candidate pipelines for non-technical talent


  • 10 or more years of professional experience with demonstrated success in the key responsibilities for this role – emphasis on track record of productive and influential partnerships with the business
  • Proven track record as a people manager, including oversight of a geographically dispersed team
  • Experience working in a technology start-up or knowledge worker environment and ideally experience in a larger corporation, as well
  • Highly organized and efficient – you get things done
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Facility with quantitative and qualitative data analysis and using data to drive decision-making
  • Experience hiring a high volume of in-demand non-technical talent (including, but not limited to: Product Managers, Client Executives, Operations Leaders, etc.) in a highly competitive marketplace
