Senior Product Manager (Programs)

The Product Manager role works with senior management, partners, and users to define next-generation features of our consumer-friendly health tools. The Product Manager then collaborates with XD, project management, and engineering to drive the process and make that vision become a reality. A qualified candidate should be familiar with the basic concepts of software product management and be willing to do whatever is needed to help the Product team advance its goals. Primary responsibilities include strategic direction, product planning & prioritization, writing requirements & detailed user stories, making tradeoffs and clearly communicating value during the development process, owning partner relationships to ensure successful product launches, and doing whatever else is necessary to ensure the strategic purposes of the feature or product are realized.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Participate in strategic conversations regarding high-level feature roadmap
  • Own and prioritize team engineering roadmaps and handling live-site triage
  • Define detailed feature requirements and user stories
  • Define, instrument, measure, and communicate funnels and key metrics for feature success. Iterate based on results.
  • Work closely with engineering and other internal teams for on-time delivery of meaningful features
  • If necessary, train and communicate platform features and value to internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to a strong Product culture of continuous development and rapid testing and learning
  • Stay on top of all relevant healthcare and consumer technology trends, competitors, and market offerings

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years (five+ preferred) in product management, product strategy, project management or business analyst role
  • Minimum of three years in consumer facing products, with both mobile and web experience
  • Product experience or interest in driving significant behavioral change in users
  • Must be adaptable, proactive, energetic, and willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; qualified candidate should bring a “Feature CEO” mentality
  • Background with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or other software development methodologies
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and creativity
  • Detail-oriented, but able to see the big picture and deliver on time
  • Clear and compelling in written and spoken communication
  • Ability to work at a fast-paced environment and manage simultaneously competing priorities
  • Proven success working collaboratively in a matrixed organization
  • Familiarity with JIRA is a plus
