Director of Product Management (Central)

Are you a proven leader in product management? Do you have the capability to develop innovative ideas, convince others to support your ideas and bring them to market?  As a Director of Product Management with Rally Health, you will provide hands-on leadership to Sr. Product Managers and Product Managers. In this role, you will drive the product expansion, strategy, and roadmap as we expand Rally’s mobile offerings to help consumers more effectively navigate the healthcare system. Your overarching focus will be on launching, marketing, and managing a suite of mobile applications - with a relentless focus on the customer and consumer. You should bring strong product oriented thinking combined with communication, analytical, and leadership skills.  

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to the VP of Product and coordinates with other senior product leaders to establish and execute a comprehensive Enterprise Tools vision and strategy – incorporates build and buy strategies relevant to specific areas of the product and business needs
  • Maintain ownership of Rally’s proprietary Enterprise Tools architecture on the Rally Central platform, coordinate with other product owners to ensure their specific Tools are consistent with established standards and strategy
  • Define and manages and owns overall execution the product roadmap specific to Rally Tools architecture
  • Establish and analyze key metrics of user behavior to help make product decisions
  • Lead and mentor a best-in-class team of product managers
  • Create and drive a strong product culture which understands the importance of continuous and rapid testing and learning
  • Stay on top of all relevant enterprise tools technology trends, off-the-shelf tools options, and market offerings
  • Identify partners and business opportunities that will enhance the product offering


  •  Minimum of 10 years of experience working with enterprise tools and software product management
  • Bachelor's degree required, M.B.A. nice-to-have, as is a focus in Computer Science and/or Engineering
  • Proven track record of successfully leading the concept creation, technical development, and launch of mobile applications on both iOS and Android
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired as is bringing customer oriented products to market
  • High attention to detail including ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases that can be clearly and easily communicated
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager /owner mentality
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and opportunistic new ideas with technical and non-technical employees
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills
